Generally, a warranty provides a safeguard from product failure. In the case of Paintbox, our guarantee affords protection from peeling or delaminating of paint and wall covering products solely due to workmanship.
Some companies offer paint warranties that only serve to protect themselves and not the customer. While other companies may wish to cut corners by using cheaper materials or using unprofessional techniques to save time and have their warranties include clauses to protect them when they mess up, our warranty is set up to protect you. We are not only confident in our work, but we would never do a sub-par job using low quality products just to shave a few hours and add a few dollars to our profits.
Let’s say something unfortunately goes wrong. What does the warranty entail and how does it help you? It’s simple. Paintbox warrants workmanship for one year from the final billing and will supply labour and paint materials to correct the specified condition at no cost. You are protected and do not have to shell out additional funds to fix any problems.
The only thing we cannot do is provide a warranty for the paint material because we don’t make the paint itself. The warranties for the actual paint is found on the manufacturer’s website and the can labels; thus, it’s their call on how to handle claims. However, we will help you deal with the manufacturer if there’s an issue. We have existing relationships with them and we will not leave you to fend for yourself.
There is some fine print. There’s always some fine print. Alas, it needs to be there because the warranty is void if the contracted price due under the agreement, including any extras, is not paid in full to Paintbox. Yes, these are heavy words but they are necessary. Please keep a copy of the contract and receipts, cancelled cheques, and anything pertaining to the paint and design job. Hopefully, everything works out great and you can file them away, never to be seen again.

Remedy of any claim can only be performed by Paintbox – no exceptions.
Paintbox is not the manufacturer and thus cannot warrant the paint material. If the failure is due to the paint material itself, the paint manufacturers warrant their paint products – these warranties can be found on the can labels and on the manufacturers’ websites. In these cases, we will not leave you to fend for yourself. We will work with you and we will directly deal with the manufacturer in support of any valid claim made during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
The warranty does not cover and is void if failure is due to any of these conditions
THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES THE ONLY EXPRESSED WARRANTY MADE BY PAINTBOX AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY PAINTBOX TO THE ADRESSEE. THIS WARRANTY ALSO CONSTITUTES THE ADDRESSE’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AGAINST PAINTBOX, INCLUDING ANY ALLEGED NEGLIGENCE OF PAINTBOX. ALSO, PAINTBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DELAY OR OTHER DAMAGES. THIS WARRANTY MAY NOT BE ALTERED OR EXTENDED FOR ANY PURPOSE.
